It is common when buying in France to find that you need assistance when renovating or modernising a property, someone to guide you in the right direction as regards planning and costing.

In some cases language is the only problem, but being able to converse in two languages does not make a Project Manager.

It is, in my opinion, not enough to be able to get simple quotes from a few artisans and hope that this will be sufficient guide to the costs involved. Good planning in the initial stages is paramount if a project is to proceed smoothly.
